SIW 6AT-A22 impact wrench
Combining intelligent electronics, a robust anvil and a sleek nose cone to reach into tight spaces, the SIW 6AT-A22 impact wrench is a small but powerful system for the installation of expansion anchors and metal bolts.
SI-AT-A22 module
A small, very light interface module which slots in between the impact wrench and battery. The interface module crunches live data from the SIW 6AT-A22 to confirm if an anchor has been torqued according to ETA and ICC-ESR approvals.
Documentation for inspection
Full accountability has never been easier. Simply connect the SI-AT-A22 module to a computer using a standard USB cable and the AT Documentation Software then downloads installation data stored by the SI-AT-A22, which can be used to produce an installation report.
Anchor installation
Using an algorithm developed from over 10,000 tests, you can install Hilti stud anchors according to ETA and ICC-ESR approvals.
Once complete the user receives a visual indication by a green light, a notification on the display and hears an audible confirmation sound.
Bolting applications
You can use AT-equipped tools for pre-tightening standard bolts (M8-M16 or 3/8"-5/8") to a repeatable pretension level and protect the bolts from being over-torqued.
You can select from 30 pretension settings or scan a Hilti Bolting QR code for quick and easy selection of the right bolt setting.
Retorquing and alignment
The adaptive torque system is intelligent enough to detect an anchor which has been tightened and then loosened again. This allows you to retighten an anchor ensuring no over-torqueing occurs.
This function is useful for straightening or aligning neighboring fixtures, such as railings and base plates.
